Faith Declarations
Faith declarations are Scripture spoken in first person over your life. They are the mechanism by which God's Word becomes a weapon in your mouth.
The Power of the Tongue
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." — Proverbs 18:21
Your words aren't just sounds or vibrations in the air. They are containers that carry power, authority, and activate things in the spiritual realm.
When you speak:
- Angels move (Psalm 103:20)
- Demons flee
- Circumstances shift
How Declarations Work
The Heart-to-Mouth Connection
"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." — Matthew 12:34
What comes out of your mouth is a result of what fills your heart. This is why meditation on the Word is critical—you have to get the Word inside you before it can flow out of you effectively.
Saying It Is How You Have It
Most Christians think: "I'll say it when I have it."
The Way of Fire teaches: "Saying it is how you have it."
God operates this way:
"God... calleth those things which be not as though they were." — Romans 4:17
When you declare "I am healed" while still having symptoms, you're not lying. You're prioritizing revelation knowledge over sense knowledge.
Activating Angels
"Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word." — Psalm 103:20
Angels hearken—listen and respond—to the voice of God's Word. When you speak God's Word, you're giving your angels their marching orders.
The Formula
- Input: Meditate on the Bible until it's written on your heart
- Guard: Refuse to speak fear, doubt, or negative "facts"
- Output: Speak the Word—call things that are not as though they were
- Result: The spoken Word acts like a heat-seeking missile, activating angels and aligning circumstances with heavenly truth
Daily Practice
Apostle Delmar has alarms on his phone every thirty minutes prompting Scripture meditation. He speaks declarations before his feet hit the floor each morning.
This daily practice:
- Plans your day according to God's Word
- Overturns the devil's plans before you even get out of bed
- Builds the muscle so that when crisis comes, your automatic response is faith, not fear
The Hand Over Mouth Rule
If faith-filled words release God's power, fear-filled words release the enemy's access.
Job said: "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me." (Job 3:25)
If you're thinking evil, doubt, or fear—put your hand over your mouth. Don't let it come out.
