Appendix G: Kingdom Property

One real day: a drive from Austin, a house consecrated in San Antonio, and a long dinner afterward. Transcribed and lightly edited for clarity. Private matters spoken over that table have been left out, and identifying details of people outside this book have been changed or removed.

Five-panel cinematic biblical comic, vertical stack. Deep royal navy and sapphire backgrounds, holy white linework, soft pale-gold-and-cyan mystical holy light (not orange-red flame; light not heat; what spiritual eyes see). Bold sapphire-and-pale-gold title bar: KINGDOM PROPERTY. 1. THE DRIVE: interior of a car on a Texas highway at midday; an elegant Black woman elder in her fifties drives while Gary Sheng (East Asian Chinese-American man, 33, short dark hair brushed up, clean-shaven, smart-casual, small fiery-dove pendant, never a cross necklace) listens from the passenger seat; a pale-gold ribbon of light runs ahead of the car down the road; banner FAVOR GOES AHEAD OF YOU. 2. THE CONSECRATION: Apostle Delmar Coward Jr. (distinguished Black male preacher, mid-60s to early 70s, bald closely-shaved head, completely clean-shaven with no beard and no mustache, warm smile, tailored navy blazer, beaded bracelet on left wrist) stands in the middle of a modest family living room with one hand raised; a translucent dome of pale-gold-and-cyan light seals the whole house from the foundation to the roofline; dark serpentine shapes flee out through the doorway; banner I DECLARE THIS HOUSE KINGDOM PROPERTY. 3. GENESIS ONE: the Apostle teaching with an open Bible while behind him the formless deep is shown as a dark ocean with the Spirit hovering over the face of the waters as a pale-gold-and-cyan brooding light, and a spoken word crossing the dark like a line of light; banner HE THOUGHT IT, HE SPOKE IT, THEN IT WAS. 4. THE CHAIN CUT: a kneeling man with a long chain of ancestral figures behind him; the chain is severed by a stroke of pale-gold light and the far end falls away into darkness; banner FORGIVE, ASK, DECLARE IT BROKEN. 5. THE TABLE: a long steakhouse table at night, seven people around it eating dinner, the Apostle mid-teaching with one finger raised, Gary listening and taking it in, steak plates with PLAIN WATER GLASSES AND ICED TEA GLASSES ONLY (hard negative: no alcohol, no wine, no stemware anywhere in this image), warm pale-gold light pooled over the table like a small sanctuary; banner THE FIRE KEPT TEACHING AT DINNER. Bold sapphire-and-pale-gold footer bar: GOD QUALIFIES THE UNQUALIFIED.

The fire does not only fall in a sanctuary. This appendix is one ordinary Friday in a house in San Antonio, from the drive over to the last plate cleared at dinner, because a whole day walking with the Apostle teaches things a sermon cannot.

A family this book has already told you about, the Villavicencios, had moved into a new home. Apostle Delmar flew in to consecrate it. Brenda Gentry drove Gary down from Austin. What follows is what got said.

On the Drive: Favor

Two hours on I-35. Gary asked one question and Brenda taught the rest of the way.

Gary: So tell me about favor.

Brenda: Favor places you in places that hard work cannot. Favor is unmerited grace. It is God's grace on you, for things you did not even deserve.

Gary: So favor is not equally distributed. Why?

Brenda: Because of the relationship first. And because if you do not know you have favor, you do not walk in favor. If you walk into a room knowing the favor of God is on you, you walk into that room a different way.

Say my father left me an inheritance and I walk in looking like I am broke, I have nothing. Then I am going to act like that. But if I walk in knowing I have an inheritance, I walk in like a person with an inheritance. It is a different walk. That is why the Bible says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6, KJV).

Gary: Does my obedience help my favor?

Brenda: Obedience is what favor runs on. Without obedience you have no favor. Without obedience you are walking on your own, guiding yourself, and your pride is telling you that you are going the right way.

Look at the men at the top who are sure they are the smartest person alive, the richest, untouchable. People look at that and call it favor. That is not favor. That man is on his own.

Gary: He looks like he is in extreme pain.

Brenda: You can think you have favor and have the wrong favor. You can have the devil's favor. Getting all the way to the top, and then finding out you are not even happy. No peace. If you do not have the fruit of the Spirit, you do not have peace.

Gary: Give me a crazy example of favor.

Brenda: When I applied at the bank there were two hundred applicants. Eight of us got hired, and I had the least experience of anybody in the room. I had no degree. Every one of them had a degree. I went through an agency and the agency told me to my face, we will submit you, but we are putting you at the back of the list, because you do not have a single one of these qualifications.

Gary: What made you apply with no credential?

Brenda: A friend told me another bank was hiring, and it paid well, and anybody could get in. I said, everybody can get in there. I want to go somewhere I cannot get in. I want to go somewhere so hard to get into that people have to figure out how in the world she got in there.

And I wrote it in my Bible. My mother taught us to write in the margin what you are asking God for, and then go back and write the date He answered. I wrote it in 2010: I want to get into this bank, and I want to go to the top. That Bible is falling apart now. It has so many answered prayers in it.

Gary: So what did they tell you after you got in?

Brenda: My boss said, you did not have the qualifications, but there was something about you that had the winning mindset. She said, I could not say no.

She also warned Gary at length about believers joining organizations that bind them with their own oaths, initiations, and covenants: Greek letter societies, the lodges, the orders. Her position is one sentence. You cannot join two houses. A covenant sworn at an altar that is not God's competes with the covenant you already have, and the first thing it costs you is the favor you never earned in the first place.

The Consecration

Everyone gathered in the living room. Worship first, for the better part of an hour, and then the Apostle began.

Apostle: Father, we thank You now for Your glory, Your power, and Your presence, as we come unified. We open up the heavens and declare the heavens are open. We bind every principality, power, and ruler of darkness. We are not here to take up a league with you. We are here to cast you out.

I break every shackle of the past off. I declare today, in the name of Jesus, we are living in the now. There will be nothing that drags us back to our past. All those chains are broken. We will not even think to go back. Why? "The just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him" (Hebrews 10:38, KJV).

I declare I have power to tread on every serpent and every scorpion, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt me. I bind the spirit of Jezebel. I bind the spirit of the python. I bind the spirit of the dragon, the serpent. I bind the wiles of the devil, and I put a stop to all of them in the name of Jesus. I uproot every word that was spoken. I uproot every evil thing that was set to happen. Every satanic word, every ritual performed, every curse, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I break it, and I turn it back to where it came from.

I declare the blood of Jesus over this house. I declare this house is now Kingdom property. I declare it is connected to the Kingdom. The Kingdom belongs to this house and this house belongs to the Kingdom.

I purify every article. Every piece of material, whether nails or paint or rags, things that were left here, things that were done here. Father God, I purify them now, and I put away everything the enemy could use to hang on: paintings, pictures, bracelets, stones, crystals. "Whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder" (Matthew 21:44, KJV).

I declare peace. I declare the glory. I declare joy unspeakable and full of glory. This is a place of healing, not a place of sickness. This is a place of deliverance, not a place of bondage. No disease is welcome here. No enemy is welcome here. No spirit that is not God is welcome in this house.

"For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually" (2 Chronicles 7:16, KJV).

Partway through, the Apostle named a python spirit over the house. Ida opened her eyes and said she had heard a slither in that room days before, had told her husband about it, and had told no one else.

The Word Over the House

Apostle: This is what I saw. This day is a launching pad to the rest of your life. This day is not to be denied. It is not to be neglected. It is not to be made light of. Take your place. Run your race.

You have been delayed. You have been made to feel like it is not you, like you were not chosen. That is over. In the name of Jesus we cancel every assignment sent to stop you from running your race.

Do not neglect your gifts. Do not say I have not. See it, believe it, take it, rejoice, and be glad, because this day you have been waiting on a long time happened today.

And do not get sidestepped. You do not follow your heart. You follow your spirit. Your heart can mislead you. God is greater than your heart, and your heart will lead you to the wrong places. When you follow the Spirit, it will not.

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9, KJV)

Ephesians Three

Apostle: I do not normally start with a chapter and a verse. I follow Him. Every time I follow Him it is victory. Every time.

"For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man" (Ephesians 3:14-16, KJV).

That word "might" is dunamis. That is all the power of God, the power inherent to itself. That is God Himself. Strengthened with dunamis by His Spirit in the inner man. You are a spirit. Your inner man is where the strength goes.

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love" (Ephesians 3:17, KJV). The roots have to grow deep. You have to give them time. You have to keep eating. When you get in the Spirit it is like water, and it makes roots grow deep quickly. Then you are "like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season" (Psalm 1:3, KJV).

Rooted and grounded in love. God does not have love as a character trait. He is love. It is not what He has. It is what He is.

"May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God" (Ephesians 3:18-19, KJV).

To know the love. To be intimate with the Spirit of the living God. You do not know the taste of honey until you taste it. You have to be in it before you can know it.

Lean back against His chest and hear His heartbeat, like the beloved disciple John did at the table because he loved Him so much. They tried to boil that man in oil later and he would not die. Love. Pure love overcomes everything. Whether it is keeping you alive or giving you the desires of your heart, love never fails.

How Faith Works: Genesis One

This is the teaching the whole day turned on. Gary had asked whether God predestines the day a person dies.

Apostle: Predestination is in there, yes. God predestined everybody to go to heaven, and then hell had to be enlarged, because people would not accept Jesus. So predestination does not mean a thing is going to happen. It takes faith for anything to happen.

Everything by faith must be spoken. God did everything He has ever done in this world by faith, speaking. He thought it, He spoke it, and then it was.

Genesis one is what God did in creation. Genesis two is how He did it.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1:1, KJV). Then "the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" (Genesis 1:2, KJV).

I will say this. Between verse one and verse two is when the devil got cast down to the earth. The earth was perfect when God made it. In verse two it is formless and void. What happened in between is Revelation 12. He was cast down, and "the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood" (Revelation 12:15, KJV), and it killed everything that was already here.

So the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light, and there was light. There was no sun. No stars. No moon. And God said, let there be light, and light spread across the universe, because His voice is light, and the Word is light.

Then "let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters" (Genesis 1:6, KJV), and the dry land appeared. He undid what the devil did.

Now watch it. God spoke the Word, and the Word is Jesus. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds" (Hebrews 1:1-2, KJV). Who created everything? Jesus. So the Spirit of God moved on the face of the deep, God spoke the Word, and the Word got the job done. And then God said it was good.

And then God said to us, now I am giving you the mind of Christ, the Creator.

So when you start to see things in your spirit, you speak them. I saw a man's legs strengthened in the spirit today, and I told him what I saw, and now it is in him, and now he has to speak the same thing. If you received it and you believe it but you never speak it, it is still not going to happen. You have to say the same thing for it to happen, because that is how faith works.

Gary: So believing is not enough by itself.

Apostle: Faith is knowing. You have to know the will of God. Then you have to believe it. Then you have to speak the same thing. And then you have to have a corresponding action. All of those have to happen for faith to manifest the way it is supposed to.

Breaking a Generational Curse

Gary: I did not know much about my father's family. I prayed with Christian friends against the generational forces from his line, and I did not know how far back to go.

Apostle: The rule for breaking generational curses is very simple.

Father, forgive them, they know not what they do. Father, I ask forgiveness for everything my forefathers did, and those before them, every deed that separated us from You, that caused generational curses. Father, I ask forgiveness for them in Jesus' name. Now, Father, I ask that You forgive me in Jesus' name. Now I declare it is broken, severed. I am no longer connected to the past.

Ask it with a pure heart, because you do not know everything they did, and you do not even know everything you have done. That is why Jesus said, Father, forgive them. That is why Stephen said the same thing. He was not connected to it anymore.

Then, once you have repented of the past, you look to Abraham. Because in the natural your forefather is not where Abraham is. "Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you" (Isaiah 51:2, KJV). If you want to know what your life is supposed to look like, go look at Abraham's life. When you got born again you became a child of Abraham (Galatians 3:29). Now consider your father. That is Abraham. The richest in the land. The most sought after in the land.

And one of the promises is that God gives us the hidden treasures of the earth. It is multifaceted. It is spiritual. It is natural. It is wealth.

Gary: Abraham took three hundred men from his own household to go get his nephew out.

Apostle: Three hundred of his own house. God told me to believe for three hundred faithful strong men in every location we are. Every location.

Now I mean males. And I also mean that a woman in the Spirit is just as strong. God did not take the rib from Adam's back. He took it from his side. The curse put the woman behind the man, and Jesus redeemed us from the curse and brought us right back. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28, KJV).

Never Speak the Past Again

Apostle: I asked God once, how do I let the past go so that the things done in the past never affect my future again? How do I do that, Lord?

He said: repent, number one. Number two, never speak of it again. Speaking opens the door.

Somebody says, but it is my testimony. Then you had better make sure you tell it the right way, because what it will do is receive the same thing back. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony" (Revelation 12:11, KJV). That is how you got over it. Not how you enjoyed it. Not all the craziness you did. Some of those things should never be discussed again.

If you think back, you go back. If you think back and then you speak back, you are going to do the same thing again in the future.

Ida is a school counselor. She said this is exactly what the Holy Spirit had taught her to do with the children sent to her office: never discuss what the teacher wrote on the referral, start from right here, speak over them what they are becoming, and then train them to say it about themselves.

Apostle: Everything in your past has been done to get you where you are in your future. Period. It is steps. Steps to get you where you need to be, so that you can be everything you are supposed to be. So celebrate your past. No feeling bad about it. No regrets.

What Is Received Can Be Refused

The Apostle spent part of the afternoon purifying objects in the house. Gary asked why an object would matter.

Apostle: Spirits take on different forms for different reasons. If you have something like that in your house, get rid of it. People can give you things, and you can buy things, that have a spiritual attachment on them. And because you love the person, you receive the thing they gave you. What you do not realize is that you also received whatever is connected to it.

It has to be received. It has to be welcomed in. So you can refuse it. That is the whole point. You welcomed us into this house, and now we can bring the things of the Kingdom in here, because you love the Son.

This is the same law running in both directions, and it is the law The Will Is the Shield teaches. Nothing crosses your threshold, dark or holy, that you did not open the door to.

One Plan Only

Gary raised a job opportunity in another city, one he had been circling for months.

Gary: How should I think about it? I do think it would be great.

Apostle: The way you find out whether you are in faith about it is you ask God. And if God gives you peace, then your conversation from now on has to be: that is my job, and I am taking it.

Gary: I have peace.

Apostle: Then no ifs. There is no faith in ifs.

Gary: I am going to stop saying "if." Honestly the reason I said it is humility, not knowing what God's will is. But you are right. I feel peace. I feel great.

Apostle: No ifs and no buts. Keep the buts out of the way.

Our first Miracle Breakthrough Crusade, we heard from God that it was happening in Kansas. We set it up in Kansas. We got to Houston and they started delaying flights to Kansas because of a snowstorm. So I said, can you get us to Oklahoma City? They got us to Oklahoma City. Then we rented a car and drove from Oklahoma City into Kansas.

We never had a plan B. It was only plan A. You cannot have a plan A and a plan B, because that is not faith. It does not work. One plan. We may have to make changes inside that plan, whatever God says. But it is the only plan. That is the way Jesus did it. One day at a time.

Elders God Named

Apostle: Brenda and her husband are elders here in San Antonio. God called them by name.

This is not something Brenda dreamed up and tried to make happen. This is not something her husband dreamed up. God said it and God did it. I want them to get it and I want them to embrace it, because it was not them that did it. It was God. Unmerited.

Then you cannot disqualify yourself. You can try to. God already qualified you.

Gary: Is that what is called unmerited favor?

Apostle: Unmerited favor. He has given us unmerited favor and grace. Grace is power. Everything I do is by grace. I did not earn this. God gave it, and He is upholding it, the whole nine yards.

God qualifies the unqualified.

At the Table

Dinner at a steakhouse, seven of us, on a Friday night. The teaching did not stop.

Lips, Hips, and Fingertips

Apostle: The enemy will always give you a substitute. He gives you the imitation before the real thing arrives. And it will not only take you forever to get where you need to be, you may get derailed and never reach your destiny, because you chose the flesh.

You can go forty years. You can go a couple of weeks. What do you want to do? Chase lips, hips, and fingertips? Go ahead.

I know a young man who married at twenty-eight, a virgin. His parents kept him. He did not give it away, he did not go to the wrong places, he did not do any of it. He now has three children who play instruments and live for God, and he is making eternal money.

Gary: So no family curses, because he waited.

Apostle: He got blessed because he waited. He did it the right way.

The Number Nobody Can Check

Gary: What percentage of Christians are going to be raptured?

Brenda: Did somebody not say only ten percent? He saw it in a vision.

Apostle: Somebody said that in a vision?

Brenda: He saw a vision of the rapture, and only ten percent. And there is a lot of revival happening right now.

Apostle: How are you going to know ten percent of what? If somebody is going to tell me ten percent of Christians are going to be raptured, I am going to say, you are drunk. I do not believe you. I am shutting the door on you. False prophet. You do not even know how many Christians there are. So how can you give me a ten percent number?

Brenda: What if it is a credible source?

Apostle: Credible just went out the window with me.

The Strong Man

Apostle: The Bible says that before the enemy can come in and spoil the goods, he has to first bind the strong man (Luke 11:21-22). So who is the strong man in the house?

The strong man does not have to be male. That woman came up and cast him out. The head of the house spiritually does not have to be the man.

Ida had carried her house spiritually for thirty years. She said she had never once heard that.

Do Not Fight the Miracle

The Apostle told the table about a teenager, blind since an accident, whose sight has been coming back in a way the doctors cannot explain. At the altar the boy told the neurosurgery team, "I am not blind, I just cannot see."

Apostle: I wish there had been a camera on his eyes right at that point, because I watched his pupils get big and small. Lights coming on. That is what made me ask him the question. I said, tell me about your eyes, tell me what you see.

And his mother said, he cannot see you.

That is fighting the miracle. You can help the devil and never know you did it.

I would not say that to her. We are not trying to hurt anybody. What I did instead was make a ministry decision years ago. I do not care who you are, you do not stand next to the person I am ministering to. Not their mother, not anybody. Because they love them, and the love pulls them out of the spirit and back into the natural, and they say what they see in the natural right on top of what God is doing. It has cost people.

This is the sixth key of Chapter 5, keeping your miracle, aimed at the person standing next to you.

What the Apostle said over the house at the beginning of that afternoon is the plainest summary of this whole book. A house, a body, a life: whatever the enemy had a claim on gets purified, declared over, and handed to its true owner. Then it belongs to the Kingdom, and the Kingdom belongs to it.

God qualifies the unqualified. Then you cannot disqualify yourself. You can try to. He already did it.
